Booking times/days can be changed up to 24-hours prior to departure time. Cancellations prior to 24 hours will be refunded in Full. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival will not be refunded, an alternate date/time can be selected within the current season. If the kayak cannot depart due to weather, a full refund will be provided. No shows are charged in FULL. Unused time is non-refundable.

If the stand up paddleboard (SUP) cannot depart due to weather, a full refund will be provided. No shows are charged in FULL. Unused time is non-refundable.

Cancellations MUST made 72 hours (3 days) prior to your reservation date for a refund. ONLY due to hazardous weather conditions on the date of the reservation will your rental be refunded in Full. No shows are charged in FULL. Hazardous weather conditions include heavy rain lasting more than 45 minutes, lightening, tornado warnings & high wind advisories.

AN ADDITIONAL NOTE ON WEATHER: For some in your group, it may be too hot, for some too cold, for others too windy – we want everyone to have a good time however, weather is not perfect AND we do not have a crystal ball to determine what the weather will be on your rental date. If you are looking for perfect weather… we live in the northeast… it’s probably not going to happen… so don’t book a boat. If you are looking to make memories with your family & friends and can still have fun if it is overcast, drizzly, hot, humid, then we are the place for you! Tuck in a cove, put up (or down) the Bimini and make the best of it – you can all stare at each other on the couch in the Winter!

• All Bookings must be done online. No over the phone bookings permitted.
• MOTORIZED BOATING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED – you are responsible for damages to the boat (and to other boats) – be sure you know how to drive a boat – and more importantly, can dock a boat. Renter must be 25 years of age or older. All boats are equipped with safety equipment and life jackets
• ARRIVE 30 minutes PRIOR to rental start time to complete paperwork and boat orientation. We do not want paperwork/orientation to use up a portion of your time on the water.
• Those born after Jan 1, 1982 are required to have a Boating Safety Education Certificate (state law). Here’s the link to take the course: https://www.boat-ed.com/pennsylvania/
• NO TUBING or waterskiing allowed – insurance prohibits this.
• RENTER is due to have boat back at time due on contract. All rental units returned after contract end time will be charged a late return fee – 10-minute grace period is provided. After 10 minutes, $250 fee will be charged to the credit card on file. All boats are equipped with safety equipment and life jackets.
• 1 full tank of gas is included.
• If rental time is cut short due to hazardous weather conditions, rental time will revert to the closest rental segment (2-hour OR 1/2 Day) and additional hours pro-rated.
• Clean up fee for boat returned excessively dirty: $40 – $80
• No Pets, Stoves or grills permitted on Pontoon boats. NO TUBING or water skiing-insurance prohibits this.
• Our facility is equipped with Portable restrooms ONLY. Please advise everyone in your group.
• We are not handicap accessible. It is a gravel path to the lake and a dock to step onto. Please call the office to discuss alternate solutions.
• Rental rates do not include tax.
• There is a 6% convenience fee added to all credit card charges from our booking company.
• PA Fish and Game Commission & Coastguard Regulation prohibit consumption of alcohol by driver and forbid us from renting boats to people who appear to have been drinking.
